Where to find it

  • Its stand in the palace’s courtyard garden, to the right of the stage.
  • Walk onto the white middle of its stand and stop there: the game opens. Click or tap the stand to see the high scores.
  • Settings > Activities > Play, or type !blobipop in the chat - from any room.

  • Finish the week in the top 3: 10, 6 or 3 Arcade Tokens, to spend at the Prize Counter (Artie, in the Lobby): a trophy of each minigame for your home, the minigame auras and more.
  • Earn a medal: 5, 10 or 15 gems, once each.
  • Do today’s challenge: 10 gems, once a day.
  • Do a feat: 10 gems, once each.
  • Solve the puzzle of the day: 10 gems, once a day.
  • Bubbles hang under a press at the top of the machine. Each one holds a bacterium. Your cannon is at the bottom.
  • On a computer: move the mouse to aim and click to shoot. You can also turn the cannon with the left and right arrows and shoot with Space.
  • On a phone: put your finger on the game and slide it to aim. Lift it to shoot. For a fine aim, slide your finger under the cannon, or tap the two small arrows there. Changed your mind? Lift your finger on the cannon and it does not shoot.
  • A dotted line shows where your bubble will go, and the bubbles it would pop get a white ring. Bounce it off the side walls to reach tricky spots.
  • Stick 3 or more bubbles of the same colour together: they pop, and their bacteria are free.
  • Bubbles left hanging from nothing fall - and a bubble that falls is worth double. Pop the ones that hold a whole bunch up.
  • The bubble waiting to the left of your cannon is your next one. Swap the two with S or the down arrow - on a phone, tap the waiting bubble.
  • Now and then your cannon loads a special bubble: a bomb pops everything it touches, a rainbow matches any colour, a painter turns its neighbours into one colour.
  • One bubble in every level has a gold ring: free the gold bacterium inside it.
  • Levels come in shapes: full rows, rows with holes, a pyramid, or a big bunch hanging from just two bubbles. A new colour starts with only a few bubbles.
  • Every 5th level is Munidark’s press: it comes down faster and has grey bubbles that match nothing - make them fall.
  • The press never stops coming down. A big fall pushes it back up a little. The first time the bubbles reach your cannon, the press jumps back up: your second chance. The next time, the game is over.
  • Hard to tell two colours apart? Press C (or use the switch on the title) to draw a shape on every colour.
  • Need a break? Press the pause button at the top left of the window, or the P key. The game also pauses by itself if you switch to another window.

Scoring

  • 50 points for every bubble of the level you pop, 100 for every one you make fall.
  • The bubbles you shoot yourself give no points: only the level’s own bubbles count.
  • Free bacteria with shot after shot and your points grow: x1.2, x1.4, x1.6, x1.8, then x2. A pop off the wall counts as one step more. A shot that frees nothing takes you back to x1.
  • 500 points for the gold bacterium.
  • Clear the level and every free space between the press and your cannon turns into a star: 20 points each. The faster you win, the more stars you get.
  • Clear a level without wasting a single shot: 500 more.
  • Beat Munidark’s press: 1,000 more.
  • Press the gold trophy at the top left of the game’s window. It shows two boards: This week and All time.
  • This week: your best score since Monday. The board starts empty every Monday, so everyone has a new chance.
  • When the week ends, the top 3 win Arcade Tokens: 10 for 1st, 6 for 2nd, 3 for 3rd.
  • Spend them at the Prize Counter: press Prize Counter under the boards, or talk to Artie in the Lobby. It has the Minigame Surprise Box, a trophy for every minigame to put in your home, and every minigame aura.

Get far enough in one game and you earn a medal, with gems. Each medal gives its gems once.

  • Bronze5 gemsReach level 3.
  • Silver10 gemsReach level 5.
  • Gold15 gemsReach level 8. Gold also gives you the Multicolored water gun.

Every day there is one small goal. Do it and you get 10 gems. Tomorrow there is a new one. It is one of these:

  • Reach level 3 in one game.
  • Score 15,000 points in one game.
  • Finish 3 games.
  • Free 200 bacteria in one day.
  • Make 50 bubbles fall in one day.
  • Win a level without wasting a shot.
  • On the game’s title, press Puzzle of the day. Everyone on the island gets the same board that day.
  • You have 12 shots and the press does not move. Free as many bacteria as the goal asks.
  • Solve it and you get 10 gems, once a day. You can try as often as you like.
  • Your cannon takes the colour of your best medal: bronze, silver or gold.
