The golden rules

The island is for everyone. Follow these rules and help others follow them: that's how Muniz Online stays fun and safe.

  1. Be kindNo insults, bullying, threats or mocking someone for who they are. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
  2. Keep your password to yourselfNever give it to anyone: not a friend, not a moderator. The Muniz team will never ask for it.
  3. Stay anonymousDon't share your real name, address, phone, school, photos or other accounts, and don't ask others for theirs.
  4. Keep the chat cleanNo swearing, adult talk, spam or flooding, and no ads for other games or websites.
  5. Play fairNo cheats, bots or tricks. Found a bug? Report it, don't use it. One account is enough for anyone.
  6. Trade honestlyNo scams or fake trades. Items, credits and gems stay in the game: never sell them, or an account, for real money.
  7. Choose good namesYour player name, your pet's name and your group's name follow these same rules.
  8. Listen to the moderatorsFollow what they ask, and never pretend to be one.

The moderators choose the sanction from what happened and how often it happened.

SanctionWhat it means
WarningA message from a moderator: the first reminder.
MuteNo chatting for a while (from minutes to days).
KickSent out of the game; you can come back straight away.
BanNo playing for some days.
Permanent banThe account is closed for good (scams, sharing personal details, selling for real money, serious bullying).

In the game, open the player's card and press Report. Say what happened in a few words.

The report keeps the chat that went with it, so a moderator can read exactly what was said. Reporting someone on purpose when they did nothing wrong is against the rules too.

Moderators are players chosen by the team to look after the island. You'll see their badge next to their name.

A moderator can always send you a private message, even if you ignore them, so they can reach you when it matters.

Someone asks for your password, your address or a photo? Don't answer: report them and tell a grown-up you trust.
