Quests
Levels and rewards
Some of the island’s characters need a hand. Help them and they pay you in XP, credits, items - even a pet.
Starting a quest
- Click the character (tap on a phone).
- Read what they say: click to go on.
- Pick the answer that takes the quest.
Your quest list
- Press the quest tracker at the top right of the game - or press your picture (top left) to open My Tasks.
- Go to the Quests tab.
- Each quest has a card: who gives it, your steps ticked as you go, and the reward - with the XP it gives.
- Its mark says Not started, In progress, Ready to hand in or Done.
- The quest tracker keeps the quest you are on in sight, with what to do Now. With no quest under way, it suggests one.
- Changed your mind? Open the quest’s card and press Cancel quest: everything you did in it is lost, and it waits to be started again from the beginning. A quest done stays done.
The quests
- Postman Pim’s lost postcards - Postman Pim, in the Blue Forest.
- Stella’s thirty stars - Stargazer Stella, on the Hallowed Hill.
- The Doctor’s missing classic - The Doctor, in the Lobby.
- Guruji’s Riddle Trail - Guruji’s Apprentice, on the way to the Hallowed Hill.
- The Muniking’s royal errand - Herald Hugo, in the Palace’s Throne Room.
- Munidark’s stolen pet - Pip, in the Mushroom Village.
- Postman Pim’s second round - Postman Pim again, once his first postcards are home. Where they are, nobody can tell you.
- Luna’s 250 stars - Stargazer Luna, at the Muni’Idol. Only until the end of October: on 1 November it’s gone, with its Vampire Bite Skin.
- Nyx’s 666 stars - Stargazer Nyx, at the foot of the Hallowed Hill, once Stella’s thirty stars are done. Only until 7 November: on 8 November it’s gone, with its Nightmare MaZo animation.
- Jimmy’s new workers - Jimmy, by the way into Mushlight Cave. Mine 35 crystals for him (every crystal counts, gems or none) for 50 credits.
Doing it and handing it in
- Things to find glow or twinkle. Walk over them to pick them up.
- What you look for is shown to you alone: a friend can’t see it, or take it.
- When your card says Ready to hand in, go back and talk to the character again.
- A quest’s credits are paid as soon as you finish it.
Good to know
- A quest tells you where to look only once you have started it.
- The royal errand is done on foot: opening the map sends the parcel back.
- The royal errand can be walked again every day: the day’s first delivery gives gems and a little XP.
- One of the quests needs a pet walking with you.
